She has lived in Kenya with her mother and 3 siblings since 2016, while they left her father back in South Sudan due to war. They moved to Kenya for peace and education progress, where her future interest in business and journalism.

Met Alec De Dut says, “When I completed high school in Kenya, I was idle and did not know what to do next. I then heard about the Skilling the Youth Program from a local library and I immediately knew that I wanted to be part of it. I have always been fascinated by computers and technology, so I knew this would be a great opportunity to enhance my skills. Learning here has been an eye-opening experience in the world of technology and I would encourage more teenagers to try it out.”
