AAH-I's workforce of over 200 individuals, mainly comprising of national staff and minority international staff in its five countries of operations, is its greatest asset. Our organisational structure includes:
International Board of Directors
Membership to the AAH-I International Board of Directors is comprised of the founders, a representative of AAH Germany, two ordinary members, chairpersons of the national boards and the Executive Director who is as an ex-officio member. National Boards
In line with its governance and management strategy, AAH-I has embarked on setting up National Boards in its countries of operations to provide strategic direction and closer oversight. The first two have been formed in Sudan and Zambia.
AAH-I Sudan National Board

Senior Management Team

Country Programme Teams
Each AAH-I Country Programme comprise of teams that incorporate technical, finance and administration staff headed by a Country programme manager. Team Leaders are responsible for the primary healthcare, water and sanitation, education, food and income security, civil society and peace promotion components in each of the country programmes.
