Transparent expenditure of your funds
AAH-I is an accountable and transparent organization.
The biggest chunk of our budget is dedicated to core project activities and only an average of just 5% is spent on administration. The generous donations we continue to receive from International agencies, governments, foundations and trusts have helped to raise AAH-I's income to over Euros 7 million. On this financial foundation we have been able to start viable and successful community projects.

CLEAN WATER
Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene can cut the death rate of communities in half. Your donation will help us dig more boreholes, construct toilets and give health education. And by providing water closer to homesteads, we will relieve women and children the burden of walking long distances in search of this precious commodity.EDUCATION
Your donation towards education will help us rehabilitate or construct new school buildings especially in South Sudan where many of these were destroyed during the civil war. Your contribution will buy much needed school supplies such as desks, books, pens and pencils to enable children especially girls attend class. Your generous donation will also help us train school management committees to better manage these institutions.PRIMARY HEALTH CARE
Your donation will help us buy essential medicines and supplies and train more health care workers. Every day in many places where we work, thousands of children die because they do not have access to basic medicines that could save their lives. Others die of diseases that are preventable through immunization. Health care workers to attend to them are too few and there is need to train more. What you give us will make a difference in lessening the disease burden.FOOD AND INCOME SECURITY
Your donation will go where it is needed most - providing families who are returning home with farming inputs such as seeds and tools to help them produce their own food. Help us train more extension workers who teach these farmers proper farming techniques that increase yields. - $2,000 will buy construction materials to rehabilitate a primary health care unit for 1000 people in Maridi, South Sudan
- $1,500 will help train nurses, mid-wives and clinical officers to boost the number of South Sudan's much needed health personnel
- $1200 will construct a school and help put back children to class
- $600 will help sink a borehole to provide safe water for a community of 20 households
- $150 will pay for a mass immunization campaign for children in Somalia's Puntland region
- $120 will train 20 village health community teams to manage boreholes, health and education facilities
